Member & Child Safety Policy
Tarneit North Football Club is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members, with the highest priority placed on the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
1. Purpose
This policy outlines Tarneit North Football Club’s commitment to safeguarding all members, particularly children and young people, from harm, abuse, neglect, and discrimination. The club promotes a culture of safety, respect, and responsibility.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all players, coaches, officials, volunteers, committee members, parents, guardians, contractors, and visitors associated with Tarneit North Football Club.

5. Code of Conduct
All members must:

6. Reporting Concerns
Any concerns, suspicions, or allegations relating to child safety or inappropriate behaviour must be reported immediately to a club official or committee member. All reports will be handled confidentially and in accordance with legal obligations.
7. Roles & Responsibilities
- Club Committee: Ensure policy compliance and oversight
- Coaches & Officials: Maintain safe practices and lead by example
- Members & Parents: Support a safe and respectful club environment
8. Breaches of Policy
Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, and may be reported to relevant authorities if required.
9. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and compliant with legislative and sporting body requirements.
